Cinnamomum camphora CAMPHOR TREE (plant)

Camphor tree or Cinnamomum camphora in Latin, is a tree of the Lauraceae family.
Camphor is extracted from the camphor tree by distillation of the wood.

This plant was used during Buddhist ceremonies or to make tiger balm.

In Cambodia, people make a stimulating drink with camphor leaves.
In traditional medicine, camphor is used for its various virtues.

Camphor tree plant 10 to 20 cm high, delivered in a plug with a good root system.
Upon receipt, plant your camphor plant in a 3 liter pot, use a light and if possible slightly acidic substrate.
Drain the bottom of your pot well before planting.

For outdoor cultivation, plant your camphor plant in a semi-shaded location.
Water well when planting.
