Digitalis grandiflora or foxglove is a species of flowering plant in the genus Digitalis, family Plantaginaceae.
It is native to southern Europe and Asia.

Foxglove is an herbaceous biennial or perennial plant with glossy green, veined leaves, whose flowering stem can reach a height of 70–120 cm.
As the plant contains cardenolides all parts are toxic.

Digitalis grandiflora was used as a hallucinogenic plant for many years.
Extremely dangerous plant!
An overdose can be as low as 0.3gr of dry leaves and it's cardiac arrest!

Sowing seeds of foxglove:
Begin by laminating your Digitalis grandiflora seeds artificially by leaving them in the refrigerator for 15 days or naturally allowing the winter period to pass.
Then, sow your seeds of foxglove in a box of fine soil, do not cover your seeds, spray water over it and then place it under mini-greenhouse.
Digitalis grandiflora seeds germinate in 2-3 weeks later.

Toxic plant, do not eat!
A growing only for ethnobotanical collection or as an ornamental plant.
