Shanshi or Coriaria ruscifolia is a shrub of the family Coriariaceae.
Coriaria ruscifolia grows in the mountains of Chile and Colombia.
It is 4 to 7 meters high in its original habitat.
Tanners' grass seeds are small and black the size of henna or cranberry.

In Ecuador, the fruit of Coriaria ruscifolia is eaten for its pleasant action.
In traditional medicine, they use Shanshi in baths against allergy problems.

Sowing Shanshi seeds:

Begin by laminating Coriaria seeds 7 to 15 days in the refrigerator or directly outdoors in winter.
