Description and uses:

Lemon Eucalyptus also called Corymbia citriodora is a species of the Corymbia genus of the Myrtaceae family. (just like guava or blue gum)
It is a large tree that can reach up to 50 m in height.
It grows in tropical and temperate regions of eastern Australia.
This eucalyptus owes its name to the strong lemon scent that its foliage gives off.
It was previously classified among the Eucalyptus hence its vernacular name
Its seeds are tiny and black in color.

Lemon Eucalyptus is known for its many medicinal properties contained in its leaves.

It is recommended in herbal medicine for the treatment of many conditions.

Sowing and cultivation:

The best time to sow Lemon Eucalyptus seeds is from April.
Start by stratifying the seeds artificially for 1 month in the refrigerator or naturally outside at the very beginning of spring.

Then, prepare a box of fine potting soil with a little sand then sprinkle the seeds on top without burying them.
Finally, gently water the crop with a sprayer and place it in a warm, humid place at a temperature close to 25°C.
Germination of lemon eucalyptus seeds will begin 4 to 8 weeks after sowing.
