Heimia salicifolia also called sinicuichi is a shrub with yellow flowers native to Mexico and Argentina.
It is a small, semi-hardy tree that will withstand low temperatures.
Its flowers are yellow throughout the summer.
Its leaves are long and thin, which gives a very ornamental side to the garden.

Its shamanic use dates back to the Aztecs.
This plant is also used as tea in divination sessions.


Sinicuichi
10 to 20 cm high, delivered in a plug with a good root system.

As soon as you receive the plant, transplant it quickly into a one liter pot.
Use a good horticultural soil when planting. Drain the bottom well with clay balls.
Water your plant immediately after planting and place it in a sunny location.

It is possible to plant it directly in the ground despite its Mexican origin, it remains relatively hardy.
However, it is recommended to wear plastic during the colder months.
