Peanut or Arachis hypogaea in Latin is a plant of the Fabaceae family which is native to Mexico.

It is cultivated in tropical, subtropical and temperate regions for its oilseed fruits called peanuts.
The peanut tree has the particularity of burying its fruits after the yellow flowers have fertilized.

It is a plant with no particular requirements.
It needs a lot of sun and water from time to time in summer.
Be careful not to overwater your seedlings, let the soil dry before watering again.

Peanut 7 to 20 cm high, delivered in a lot of roots.
Transplant your plant in a 5 liter pot or directly in the ground in a sunny location.
Remember to water the plantation.

Harvest your peanuts directly underground like potatoes.
It's very easy and fun to grow it.
