HoneyweedSiberian motherwort also called marihuanilla or Leonurus sibiricus is an annual herb of the Lamiaceae family just like white sage or horehound.
It is native to Asia and is about 1 to 2 meters high.
Flowers of Marihuanilla are purple, the leaves lanceolate.
Siberian motherwort seeds are small and resemble those of echinacea purpurea or acorus.

Honeyweed has been used for centuries in traditional medicine in Asia to relax.
It is also used against male power problems, menstruation and light creases.
In Latin America, marihuanilla as well as Wild dagga or Klip dagga are used as a relaxing and sedative plant.


The best time to sow marijuanilla seeds is in May.

Sow the seeds in a box of fine potting soil then cover them by one to 2 millimeters with substrate.
Water the soil gently with a sprayer.
Finally, place the culture in a warm place at a temperature of around 25°C.
germination is rapid, it will take on average between 1 and 2 weeks after sowing.
