Presentation:

Nymphea carnea or pink water lily is a perennial aquatic plant.
It is a species of the Nymphéaceae family.
It has a large rhizome several centimeters in diameter.
Its thick, rounded leaves float on the surface of the water.
Its large solitary pink flowers develop on the surface of calm waters.
Its seeds are small, round and black in color.

Planting and cultivating:

Pink water lily 10 to 30 cm long, delivered bare root in airtight plastic to guarantee good humidity during transport.
Upon receipt, plant it in a pot, with a well-draining substrate based on potting soil and sand. It is possible to add pebbles to the substrate in order to retain the soil during immersion in your water feature. .
Place the rhizome frost-free, therefore at a depth of around 40 cm minimum.
The more sun there is, the more it will flower.

It can be grown with white water lily, blue water lilylotus or even a beautiful rustic papyrus currently available on the site.
