More info

Coryphantha clava is a genus of small to middle-sized, globose or columnar cacti.
The genus is native to Central America, from Mexico to southern New Mexico and Texas.

The only ritual or shamanic use of Coryphantha species is same as peyote substitutes (Lophophora williamsii).

The Taharumaras of northern Mexico call it Bakana, it is for them a sacred fantastic cactus.
Consumed by shamans as a cactus influencing mental activity, Coryphantha clava is feared and respected by Mexican Indians (like peruvian torchsan pedro cactus and star peyote).

Sowing Coryphantha clava seeds:

Sow your seeds in a small jar of soil and sand.
Cover with 1 to 2 mm of substrate then water with a sprayer then close the jar with the cap.
Let your cactus seeds germinate in a warm place for 2 to 4 weeks.
Coryphantha clava seeds germinate usually begins after 3 to 5 weeks.
